Remo Diplomat® Coated drumheads feature bright, open tones for maximum resonance and sustain. Constructed with 1-ply of 7.5 mil film, Diplomat® Coated drumheads are best known for accentuating Snare and Tom response in Orchestral applications. Available is sizes 8" to 18", there is also a "Thin" option for sizes 13" and 14". Can also be used as resonant (bottom) heads.
An extremely open and bright drumhead – the Remo Diplomat Coated is one of the thinner batter drumheads available, and will give an excellent full sustain. These drumheads are great as batter tom heads to really hear your drums ring out.

Remo Diplomat Coated drumheads are made with a single ply of coated 7.5 mil film. The thin single ply makes the Diplomat a great option for bright and full sounding toms that will ring out nicely. Compared to the Clear Diplomat, Coated Remo Diplomat drumheads are slightly warmer, and have less attack. This sound helps them to blend well with other instruments, and record well in the studio. These heads are extremely responsive to even the most sensitive touches, making them great for lower or medium volume situations where every detail can be heard.
Remo Diplomat Coated drumheads will allow your high toms to sing, and will make your floor toms growl. They will give you a bright and open sound on snare drums, with a good amount of sustain and overtones to give character to each stroke. The coating is responsive to brushes, making the Coated Diplomat a good choice for sensitive brush work as well as with drumsticks.
The Coated Remo Diplomat is also a good option as a resonant tom or bass drumhead -these pair well with any type of thick or thin batter tom head. As a resonant tom drumhead, the Coated Diplomat will give you a moderate sustain, with a slightly warmer sound compared to the Clear Diplomat.

We want you to have a positive experience shopping with us, so we offer a 30 day returns policy should the product not be suitable.
Simply open a return request from your account on our site, or contact us by phone or email. We will then provide an RA (return authorisation) number and instructions on where to send the parcel.
Please note, returns are only accepted if the goods are unopened, with all packaging and any seals unbroken. If you've used or opened the product, we cannot sell it as new. I'm sure you'd agree when buying something you expect it to be brand new! The refund or credit will be minus our shipping and admin fees
Some items are exluded from this returns policy, including any product that may present hygeine issues. These products are deemed excluded at our discretion.
All products sold by this site come with a guarantee to be free of defects, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
However, please choose carefully as refunds are not usually provided when you have simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, or made a wrong selection.
We reserve the right to accept any of these mentioned returns at our discretion, although restocking fees and administration fees may apply.
