The Guilele/Guitalele Red Series sets provide superior performance over traditional strings for musicians who love clear, sharp sounds and powerful voicing across the full scale of the instrument. You never heard a sound like this before, simply because before it did not exist.
A unique look and a strong, consistent sound. Until now, it was necessary to increase a string’s gauge to reach lower frequencies. But increasing the string’s diameter also increases the internal dampening. That makes the string less bright, less responsive and more muffled, the thicker the string, the duller the sound. Our revolutionary new approach, never introduced before us, changes the specific weight of the material, increasing it progressively to leave the gauges almost unchanged as possible. The result is amazing: the instrument sounds brighter, more powerful and more responsive through the entire range of the fretboard.
The strings also maintain their intonation better (because thicker strings need to be fretted harder, pulling them farther out of tune). Until now, this result was reached only with harps, where the scale of the strings is continuously varied.
The set is designed for instruments with a scale of 17″ (43 cm): do not use on longer lengths.

We want you to have a positive experience shopping with us, so we offer a 30 day returns policy should the product not be suitable.
Simply open a return request from your account on our site, or contact us by phone or email. We will then provide an RA (return authorisation) number and instructions on where to send the parcel.
Please note, returns are only accepted if the goods are unopened, with all packaging and any seals unbroken. If you've used or opened the product, we cannot sell it as new. I'm sure you'd agree when buying something you expect it to be brand new! The refund or credit will be minus our shipping and admin fees
Some items are exluded from this returns policy, including any product that may present hygeine issues. These products are deemed excluded at our discretion.
All products sold by this site come with a guarantee to be free of defects, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
However, please choose carefully as refunds are not usually provided when you have simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, or made a wrong selection.
We reserve the right to accept any of these mentioned returns at our discretion, although restocking fees and administration fees may apply.
