The Radial IceCube IC-1 is an ideal problem solver for today's AV technicians and audio engineers, providing an easy way to insert an isolation transformer into the signal path to remove hum and buzz from ground loops, with a ground lift switch for additional noise reduction.
Simply connect it between any two line-level devices, such as a mixer and a powered speaker, or a crossover and a power amp.
The IceCube will eliminate ground loop noise without limiting the audio bandwidth or introducing phase shift, and it can handle hot signal levels without distortion.
The Radial IceCube IC-1 is a balanced line level isolator designed to quickly eliminate hum and buzz problems in an audio system by simply inserting it into the signal path.
Measuring just 10 x 4 cm, the compact design begins with two super-duty glass-filled nylon XLR's at each end with heavy duty nickel-silver contacts that will not tarnish over time.
Unlike other isolators that are made of plastic, the IceCube is made from solid 16 gauge steel and finished in a tough powder coat.
The steel outer shell is not only more durable, it provides excellent shielding against electromagnetic fields radiated by power cables, dimmers, motors and power supplies - delivering consistently quieter results when deployed.
This is augmented with a 'set & forget' ground lift switch to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
Inside the IceCube, a proprietary Eclipse transformer isolates the input from the output and blocks stray DC currents.
While small transformers rarely perform well below 100 Hz, the IceCube is exceptionally linear from 20 Hz to 18 kHz. It is also able to withstand up to +10 dB at 20 Hz with less than 0.01% distortion.
It is a quick and easy problem solver that will eliminate noise without limiting the bandwidth or introducing phase shift, harsh sound or unpleasant artefacts.

We want you to have a positive experience shopping with us, so we offer a 30 day returns policy should the product not be suitable.
Simply open a return request from your account on our site, or contact us by phone or email. We will then provide an RA (return authorisation) number and instructions on where to send the parcel.
Please note, returns are only accepted if the goods are unopened, with all packaging and any seals unbroken. If you've used or opened the product, we cannot sell it as new. I'm sure you'd agree when buying something you expect it to be brand new! The refund or credit will be minus our shipping and admin fees
Some items are exluded from this returns policy, including any product that may present hygeine issues. These products are deemed excluded at our discretion.
All products sold by this site come with a guarantee to be free of defects, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
