- This allows the Mantra to control not just colour, but all the parameters of modern moving lights.
The large colour LCD touchscreen provides immediate access to most parameters and functions at your fingertips.
The clever app-based operating system allows even the novice user instant results, whilst still allowing the more experienced user access to advanced functionality.
Large icon identifiers quickly drill into key functions such as Colour, Intensity, Beam and Position – simplicity at its best!
The Animate function is another LSC first and delivers a simple and intuitive way of creating intensity chases and moving patterns in a single cue.
It works with two or more selected fixtures and shifts the pattern, colour or intensity of each fixture to the next and loops the settings of the last selected back to first.
No other console in this class can match the Mantra for its fast and advanced programming.
Selecting and controlling colours is now made easier with Mantra Lite’s colour picker app. No more working out the physics of colour mixing. Directional and symmetrical fan functions allow clever fanning of colour on your selected fixtures. Recent colour selections are stored for quick access to favourites and the gels app gives instant access to 100 commonly used gel colours.
All keystrokes are tracked on the Mantra Lite – an Undo button can undo your last action or the Redo button allows you to redo an action and move you up the tracking list.
An excellent feature for those long, drawn-out programming sessions enabling the user to retract or reinstate programming at any point of plotting a show.
If your new lighting fixture does not have a template in the Mantra Lite library yet, you can create it with the Fixture Editor.
Connect the new fixture to the Mantra Lite and let the editor “discover” the DMX channel assignments via the yellow channel faders – you don’t need to know the manufacturer’s assignments beforehand.
So, 24 fixtures and 10 playbacks aren’t enough?
No problem – connect a Mantra Wing to provide an additional 12 fixtures, 10 more playbacks and another DMX Universe.
Still not enough?
Add a second Mantra Wing to get a total of 48 fixtures, 30 playbacks and a total of three DMX outputs. Up to two Wings can be connected per Mantra Lite via a USB cable.
Mantra Lite and the Mantra Expansion Wings combine the ease of use of a fader based console, with the power of a touch screen graphical user interface.
The software shows the user what to do next, ensuring a very easy learning curve for even the novice user.
Power users are also catered for with many advanced features and the ability to record up to 1,000 memories, across 100 cuelists or chases, and playback 10 simultaneously on the console. Each optional wing increases this by 10 playbacks and 100 cuelists.
The DMX output is also available as sACN and/or Art-Net via an RJ45 connector on the console.
Control of 24 individual fixtures is provided on the Mantra Lite console, each with a physical fader for intensity. The optional expansion wings each provide an additional 12 fixtures, 10 playbacks and a universe of DMX.
Connect up to two wings for a total of 48 fixtures, 30 playbacks and 3 universes of DMX.
A large 18cm (7.2”) colour capacitive touch screen provides a powerful user interface, similar in operation to modern smartphones, giving the user the feeling of familiarity and comfort.
RGB, RGBA, RGBAW and CMY parameters are all controlled via a simple colour picker, Pan and Tilt via a trackpad and other parameters by virtual sliders.
The unique Animate feature provides a simple and intuitive way to quickly create chases and patterns in a single cue – usually within just a few seconds.
This feature alone makes the Mantra the most powerful in its class. An Undo command system, context sensitive Help, and Live time controls ensures that Mantra will remain the market leader for years to come.
Fixture library updates and new software features are easily installed via USB stick and show files can be backed up to USB stick for off site storage.
