You don’t have to go big to sound huge...
IK Multimedia UNO Drum
Analogue/PCM drum machine.
Fully programmable. Ultra-portable.
The IK Multimedia UNO Drum is the ultimate beat creation station for anyone and everyone to create warm, punchy, high-quality, and inspiring grooves.
Made in collaboration with Italian analog specialist Soundmachines, UNO Drum follows the acclaimed UNO Synth, combining massive analogue tone with digital flexibility and convenience.
UNO Drum makes it easy to program and perform using the widest sonic palette to add professional drum grooves to your music.
UNO Drum offers 6 true analogue drum sounds for the warmest, richest, and most dynamic drum sounds possible. This includes 2 different kick drums, snares, claps, and hi-hats - the core kit that characterises the most iconic analog drum sounds of all time.
Plus, added PCM elements (with 54 samples to choose from) are available for additional sonic flavors.
Toms, rims, cowbells, rides, and crash cymbals help you create complex, unique, and full rhythm tracks. UNO Drum lets you use up to 12 elements in total between analog and digital sounds (11 voice polyphony).
All of the above can be stored and recalled on the fly with 100 drum kit presets, all pre-programmed and fully editable at your leisure.
It’s a breeze to find an IK inspired kit that catches your ear and tweak to fit your taste, or create your custom kits from scratch. Make something you like and save and store for later use – UNO Drum is ready to recall your beats whenever you are.
UNO Drum also offers 3 master effects: analog drive and compressor and a stutter effect.
Turn up the drive to make your grooves hit harder with an aggressive edge.
Add compression to make your tracks tighter, gluing together your rhythm with a fat and heavy punch.
Like what you hear? Good.
Your settings will save right with your kit for instant recall.
Stutter offers adjustable depth, from subtle tremolos to full-on slices, to create different feeling sounds and grooves.
UNO Drum lets you freely swap analog and digital elements, so you never have to feel limited by pre-set combinations.
Between the analogue engine designed by SoundMachines and samples drawn from IK’s award-winning SampleTank sound & groove workstation, the diverse collection of sounds encourages fresh ideas and unique creation.
Producers, beat-makers, creators, and DJ's alike can always count on UNO Drum to find their groove.
With the help of UNO’s sound editing controls, options are always available for the key parameters of each sound element.
Tweak the Tuning of your kicks for sub-rattling hip-hop, adjust Snap for punchy EDM drums, push the Decay for thundering industrial sounds, and so much more.
UNO Drum’s in - depth control encourages experimentation to take your drum tracks far beyond the usual.
12 touch-sensitive pads line the centre of UNO Drum, offering two velocity zones for more expressive live playing and easier programming. These can be used to play entire beats live with a pad-style feel, or to easily add your own live flare on top of pre-programmed rhythms.
These pads are also used to select the individual elements of your drum patterns. Press each element to edit the parameters for that specific drum sound to tweak your sounds in real-time as your patterns play.
Listen to your tracks evolve, build tension towards a drop, go lo-fi for a break, and more.
Switch up your performance every time you play with UNO’s 5 performance effects: Roll, Fill, Random, Swing and Humanize, and use the master stutter effect to chop up your entire groove.
Whether you prefer 808's or MPCs, UNO Drum makes it easy to program the way you want.
The step sequencer lines the bottom of UNO Drum, showing 16 steps and 4 pages. Tap a step and hit a pad to add a hit to that selected step, or use the Record button play within a pattern.
The sequencer also allows you to automate up to 8 parameters per step, for radically different sounds on each beat.
Song mode allows you to chain up to 64 patterns together to create extended grooves.
In this mode, each step is its own pattern, so you can trigger any of the stored sequences live, on the fly in any order you want. Song mode allows you to create full length beats in the palm of your hands. Let the grooving begin.
If you’re looking for a place to start, UNO Drum comes pre-loaded 100 drum patterns in addition to its 100 kits.
Quickly search and find a pattern that suits your genre or experiment with styles you never imagined. Easily scroll through the included choices and add flavor, swap out the sounds, and adjust the vibe as you go - or feel free to create your own patterns.
Either way you choose, you can always instantly save them to revisit later.
Use UNO Drum at home, in the lab, in DJ booth, and beyond.
UNO offers USB and traditional MIDI via 2.5 mm jacks (cables included) to integrate with both your Mac/PC and iOS device or traditional outboard MIDI gear, so no matter your rig UNO Drum will pair perfectly.
UNO also offers Audio in to daisy chain with UNO Synth or other gear. It even allows you to apply compression to the audio IN, to help glue your mix of instruments together.
Say goodbye to compromising on sound quality or features to fit travel and packing restrictions.
UNO Drum is super lightweight, ultra-compact, and sturdy enough to hit the road with you. Just toss it in your backpack and bring it out when inspiration strikes. As portable as a sketch pad, warm as your passion for music, you can create grooves and songs to save and recall whenever and wherever you need them.
UNO Drum can be powered by USB, either from a computer or battery pack, or by 4 AA batteries for the ability to create music anywhere and everywhere. This means that the day for searching for an outlet are over.
Wherever you find inspiration, UNO Drum will be right beside you to capture every second of it.
The UNO Drum Editor is a plugin and stand-alone app that makes UNO Drum hit even harder!
Instantly change any parameter on the UNO Drum, from adjusting sounds to creating patterns, for complete control of your instrument right from your computer, or iPad.
You can load and edit presets created on UNO itself, or build new kits and patterns from scratch and transfer to UNO for unplugged use.
It offers powerful ways to integrate UNO Drum into your computer-based studio, or edit on the go from your mobile device.
The new Drum Anthology libraries for UNO Drum deliver 10 new PCM sample libraries, drawn from 40 devices spanning the full history of drum machines, letting you replace UNO Drum’s factory PCM soundset with fresh samples for whole new palettes of sounds to keep the grooves flowing.
From 60’s swing to ‘80's hip-hop, ‘90's house and beyond, these iconic machines have shaped the course of music history, and UNO Drum puts them at your fingertips.
Their pops, blips, and percussive noises started as a way to accompany live solo music and have progressed into a key element of some of the most famous songs of all time.
